Good to hear that next season Denmark will have players in the SHL again.
Nichlas Hardt had already moved from Jokerit to Linköping and now Jesper B. Jensen has moved from Rögle to Färjestad.

I am a bit shocked that Storm hasnt found his way to SHL also one way or another.

But great overall to see that the numbers of danish players in the best leagues in Europe are rising once more. We need that on the NT.

I would think that (forward) Jesper Jensen would be closer to SHL than Frederik Storm (also based in the WC performance), but they must both be close/borderline in skill level currently.
But really happy to have players in the SHL again, that is really needed for the NT as you say.

Simon Nielsen who has had a bad start to the season in DEL2 (5,51 GAA in two games) has a new competitor(replacement?) because Kassel Huskies has brought in Mika Järvinen....hope we won't see another bad season for nielsen but could be looking that way.

Nicklas Hardt on the other hand has started much better in the SEL. 4 points in 5 games.

Danes with 1 PPG:
After 6 matches Nichlas Hardt is number 1 in point production for Linköping!
2G 4A.
Mads Christensen is 4G 1A in 5 games for München in DEL.

Otherwise Jesper Jensen is third in Allsvenskan for Rögle with 5G 3A in 8 games.
Next year he should be ready for playing in SEL with his skill level.
Frederik Storm also have 2G 5A in 7 games for Malmö.

Then Kim Staal have 4G 3A in 5 games, so he is having fun over there in Asia.....

Kristian Jensen (1996) got his debut in SHL tonight for Luleå who lost 2-3 at home to Indians. He was even close at scoring after just two seconds :)

Lets hope he continues to progress and can be a valuable piece in the WJC later this year. We could sure use all the skill we can get our hands on.

Anyone thinking of going to Toronto by the way?

Having three Danes in the SHL this year (and two as regulars) is really a very good step forward....

In the Allsvenskan Jesper Jensen and Frederik Storm are really on a roll.
They must really be ready soon to take the jump to SHL.

Jesper Jensen is 8G 8A in 14 games for Rögle. Second in points, joint 1st in goals.

Frederik Storm is 6G 7A in 14 games for Malmö. Seventh in points.

Jesper Jensen and Frederik Storm as second and third in Allsvenskan point production.
Storm: 8G 10A in 17 games
Jensen: 8G 9A in 17 games

Having 2 Danes in the top3 is really not something you see everyday!

In DEL Mads Christensen has 8G 3A in 12 games, so he also have a massive start to the season.
In SEL Nichlas Hardt is 3G 7A in 14 games, which is also quite decent!

Both Jensen and Storm were ready for SHL this season. I hope they are there later or next season. Our future NT roster seems like it gets constant upgrades the last two-three years. A few years back they all left the SHL for DEL or worse.

Yeah they definitely should be - either if their teams qualify for SHL, or they should find a club there!
