He is now second on Medvescak's KHL all time scoring list with 39 points. First is Bill Thomas with 62, he is out of the reach for Bjorki this season, but if he stays in Medvescak (and Medvescak in KHL) next season he could climb into first place.:handclap:

:handclap: well Medvescak is a team changing the lineups a lot each year, but still like the sound of it!

Finally Peter Regin got his scoring going again (and a good old slapper on the PP, no less).
Jokerit won 4-3 SO over Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg.
Regin has 1G 1A and scored the shootout winner.
Philip Larsen had 1A (on Regin's goal).

Bjorki just scored a GWG vs CSKA.
1-0 OT (Huge win for Medvescak over one of the best KHL teams) - so that gets P. Bjørkstrand to 7G 4A overall (same numbers of goals he has last season).

Jokerit also won 4-2 over Jugra.
Philip Larsen got 1G 1A and Jesper B. Jensen got 1A. No point for Regin.

Regin: 7G 13A
Larsen: 4G 14A
Jensen: 3G 3A

Jokerit seems to change between winning and losing lately.
Last night a 3-2 OT loss, but Regin was 1G 1A and Philip Larsen 1A.
Larsen has really been point streaking lately and good to see that Regin is beginning to find the net again.

Medvescak lost 0-4, so no P. Bjørkstrand points.

Bjorki with GWG vs Torpedo.

So with his 9th goal of the season P. Bjørkstrand takes over the sole lead for most Danish goals in the KHL!

Regin stays at 8th goals, but added two assists in Jokerit's 3-1 win!

Jokerit and Medvescak are 1 and 2 in the Bobrov Division and 4th+6th in the west conference.
Still looking good for both teams getting to the playoffs.

Jokerit lost (a bit suprisingly) 2-5 to Sochi.
Peter Regin has 1G and Philip Larsen has 1A
So Jokerit are very much up and down at the moment, but good to see Regin really is over his slump and Larsen is still adding up points in a steady stream.

Good night for the "Danish" teams in KHL.

Medvescak won 1-0 over Automobilist Jekatarinaburg. [No Bjørkstrand points].
Jokerit won 2-1 over AK Bars Kazan. Peter Regin scored the game winner bringing him up to 10G and the leader in goals among the Danish players.

Medvescak lost 6-3 to "east" top team Avangard Omsk.
P. Bjørkstrand got 1A.
Medvescak is barely holding on to the 8th spot, but it's close around that position with Slovan Bratislava and Dinamo Minsk right after.

Regin is ballin at the moment...great production. scored again today.
Really hope Regin can be in type of form at the WC......Its amazing how much stronger we will be this year before even thinking about the "north americans"

Bjorkstrand will probably end the regular season with 20+ points.
First season 13 pts, second season 15 pts, third 20+. (4,7 10+ goals)
He established himself as a good KHL player.
I remember when he was signed form Allsvenskan. Everyone's reaction was: WTF? Who's this?

Yeah but he was playing in Mora during the lockout when Anze Kopitar was there!
"When it rains on the priest, it drips on the clerk" as we say in Denmark.
But besides being a key player on the Herning team winning the Danish championship in both 2010/11 and 2011/12 and thus getting a chance in Allsvenskan the year after I guess he really was an unknown.

He has great hard woking attitude that makes him steadily improve year by year.
Top 3 player on the Danish NT from the last two WC as well.

Ye, but you were crippled without Eller, Nielsen, Regin.
He still needs few years to become your real top player.
Line Ehlers-Eller-Bjorkstrand will be feared in WC from 2017. :)

Bjorkstrand should be given "A" next season if Medvescak stays in KHL. Reportedly, he has croatian girlfriend (unconfirmed source).

For his development to get increasingly more responsibility in Medvescak seems preferable to other options IMO. He has fought his way up from a 4th line, so hopefully he continue going all the way!
Also good for Medvescak - since they have considerable player rotations each year - that they retain some core hard working players!

So last night it was Danes against Dane.

Jokerit beat Medvescak 4-1, but the only Danish point was the goal by Patrick Bjørkstrand !

What a good season he is having!

He became my favourite Medvescak's player. Came in as an outsider, worked his way up in the lineup, nice cinderella story :). He is also well respected among Medvescak fans. If Medvescak leaves KHL his departure will be only reason why I will miss my club in K.
