Matt Rust at #29? That's the highest I've ever seen him. Central Scouting had him ranked #124 in their Mid-Terms, and I pretty much thought he'd be a mid-to-late round pick. What makes you like him in the first round?

Would it make more sense just to have a stickied post so everyone can place their mock drafts there?

Oilers should NOT take Nick Petrecki - I prefer Plante or Mayorov at that spot.

I will be shocked if Voracek actually falls that far in the draft, he seems like a lock for the top 3 at this point.

The most common top 3 I've seen is one of Kane, Alzner and Turris. I imagine Voracek could fall a little... I personally have him ranked behind those three, and also behind Couture.

I like the mock draft, and although I am unfamiliar with Owayu, I could see the Coyotes doing something risky with their second pick. I can also see the Canucks taking a chance on Aliu, since this draft is a bigger crapshoot than most and Aliu is extremely talented.

If I were to take exception with anything here, it would be this: I suspect that Montreal has zero interest in Colton Gillies, and certainly not in the first round. The Habs need goalscorers, not fourth-liners who used to play D. Otherwise, good job.

I would love Turris in Chicago...
By the way,Boston would be very lucky to take Voracek...i think he is top 5

I don't want to say that list is BS, beacause there are so many questionmarks this year...but I would see the chances that Turris is selected as 5th and Voracek at 8th at circa 0.1 %
Turris will be selected 1st or 2nd overall, imo, and Voracek has a realistic chance to go into Top 3, and most likely will be a top5 choice.

I seriously doubt Voracek falls out of the top 5. I'm 99% sure the Kings will select Kyle Turris if he is available to them. They have had several meetings with Kyle and they even invited Turris into GM place so he could talk to Marc Crawford.

Man, I'd sit at home and cry about that draft as a Montreal Canadiens fan..

We got stone-hands Gillies instead of Mayorov.. Oh man, would I be disappointed.
