If he signs with his hometown Dolphins that could be the final piece of the puzzle that will put Miami on top of the AFC East & a very viable candidate to make or even win the Super Bowl pending a healthy Tua. 🙏

I'd still roll the dice on him. Miami needs a legitimate feature back instead of this island of misfit former Niner backups McDaniel tried to make happen.

Big Cook fan but the writing was on the wall given his contract, the Vikings cap situation (have to pay JJ, Hock and Hunter) and the devaluation of the position. Plus it seemed he lost a half a step last year. Weird he's only 28. So this might be a 'year too early rather than a year too late' type move/

So, more likely, waiting for someone to get cut in camp.

They also drafted DeWayne McBride in the 7th round. He was a projected 4th/5th.

I think they're high on Chandler too. Nwangwu is just a KR, one of the best at it, but he's prob 4th on the Depth Chart.

Mattison is also somehow younger than both Chandler and Nwangwu and he's going on year 5. They're on 2 and 3 respectively.
