Pre-draft interview with Crozier from Calgary Flames TV. FYI, also saw draftsite.com, has him going in the 6th round.

An overeager for 2019 - seems like he'll be drafted this go-around. Was just named for his team (Sioux Falls, USHL) - top defensive player and team MVP.

End of Season Team Awards

This write-up is from a mock draft from a Buffalo fan site, which has the Sabres taking him in the 4th round.

Maxwell Crozier, RD, USHL **:
Finally we get to a defender! Now, you might say…who? Crozier was a guy in that mix of players I had as 6th or 7th rounders, but this kid has had a sudden rise in the last couple months with the eventual Clark Cup champions in Sioux Falls. Great size at 6’2 190#, he’s an over-ager playing his first year in the USHL, but he wore a letter for the Stampede and was paired up with potential 1st rounder Ryan Johnson. He’s a bigger kid but plays an offensive game, has good mobility in all directions and he enjoys carrying the puck up ice. A puck carrier with a great handle, he’s got good instincts in transition and will happily take whatever is given him – pulling up high after an easy zone entry or beating a defender one-on-one and taking the puck deep. A strong 2-way D-Man, he’s a physical force in his own zone where he clearly enjoys hitting, but rarely does he let the chance for a big hit take him out of position.
A solid skater who won’t dazzle you with explosion or pretty edgework but is very smooth changing direction and doesn’t struggle to keep up with the play. Point shot is hard and accurate, although not going to scare anyone dropping down to block a shot. Like Jacob Bryson, he’s an over-ager headed to Providence College next season. Putting up an impressive 43P in 60 games made him one of the top 6 Defensemen scorers in the USHL, but his eye-popping 11P in 12 playoff games made him the top D-Man scorer in the playoffs and the leading scorer for the champs. He’s going to need some development time, but there’s a lot to like there.
