PRAGUE (AP) - The Czech ice hockey federation has become the second national body to reject a player transfer agreement between the NHL and the International Ice Hockey Federation.

All fourteen clubs of the Czech league voted unanimously to reject the deal between the IIHF and the NHL at meeting Wednesday, said Lubos Kozeluh, a deputy head of the Czech federation.

What does this now mean for the NHL? Are the olympics pretty much screwed?

Why should this screw the Olympics>
ANyway, I can see why they don't sign that thing. Must be frustrating to develop players and then they leave and the club gets an allowance.

It can screw the Olympics because the NHL has to have a signed agreement with the IIHF in order for NHL players to play, and the League is reluctant to sign an agreement that excludes the Russian and Czech leagues.
