I'm surprised Wolski is ahead of Schremp. I'm guessing they think the Mississagua thing is a pretty big issue.

This draft looks pretty good for goaltenders...I've only seen lacosta play, and he's looked great this year, and he's #3 in the OHL...these other tenders must be spectacular!

I posted this before the season began. Just had to mention it. :):):)

I don't think that any of these guy's are going to challenge for the number 1 but they are strong canidates for the first round that nobodies mentioned.

Drew Stafford: He was one of only 3 players who were on the US WJC18 that didn't belong to US U18 National Team and he ended up being their second best scorer on the team. He's got good size, speed and hands and is going to North Dakota this year.

Kyle Chipchura: Play's for Prince Albert and he's got also got good size, grit and decent hands. He's was a real hard working forward last year but is a bit of a project right now. Someone on the board told me that he had a pretty good scoring touch before the Dub.

Sean Courtney: Is in second year playing for Erie in the Ohl. He played really well on a horible team and could be ready for a big break out. He kind of reminds me of Eric Stall (if Stall didn't grow 4 inches and a little less offensive ability and speed). Actually maybe Justin Williams is a better comparison;)

p.s. Sean Courtney had a horrible start to the season but has been turning it up recently and could do OK on the mid-season rankings if he keeps it up. Also called Green doing better than Card (I always compare them because they are the same type of player) and Justin Peters being the best goalie in the OHL (I said the CHL actually but they aren't doing combined yet).

I think the OHL list is actually pretty good. I'd still have Schremp rated number 1, but thats just persoanl preference. Wolski is a damn good player also. Mcgrath, Bickell and Garlock is exactly how I'd round out the top 5 as well. I think they did an overall very good job, at least through my eyes. The only criticisms that I can think of is that maybe Adam Berti is a bit too low, he's done a good job of coming back from his injury and is a good power forward prospect. I'm also very suprised that Tyler Kennedy of the Soo Greyhounds isn't on that list. While he isn't big, he's got a lot of skill and IMO deserves to at least be in the top 25.

Courtney is in his third year with Erie, he played in the Mem cup as a 16 year old.....I believe Courtney actually scored the goal that clinched the OHL title for Erie.

Wonder why the Soo's Jordan Smith isn't on this list, I would have definitely had him as one of the top 25 OHL draft eligible players.

Wolski is a better player than Schremp according to several OHL players that I've talked to.

Holy Shiznit, I just looked above and Sean Courtney was the player who said that about Schremp.

Courtney is a tall guy but very skinny. I skated with him in August and he is pretty fast with a great shot. I expect him to be drafted this year near the 3/4th round.

Mike Card is not having a very good year compared to last year. Stuck in Habscheids defensive regime and just not producing offensivly like most of us expected.
