I hope it does really well. The new Ratchet and Clank too. I'd personally rather see more modern-day platformers come out and be successful then another mind-numbing Ubisoft installment of Far Cry or Assassin's Creed.

Cautiously optimstic. Crash games are seldom groundbreaking but at bare minimum enjoyable. However franchises don't tend to fare well on the "4th" game (Halo, Gears, Sonic to name a few)

I really hated the remake I'll be honest.

I never played the original but the platforming in the remake was awful. You couldn't judge depth properly in the sections where you were moving towards and away from the camera and certain levels required almost frame perfect jumps (thinking of the level with the broken bridge and the turtles)
