Steenbergen was invited to Canada's camp.
But I just read on the Canada roster thread that Steenbergen is injured.

Can he still play if he misses the camp?

Westerlund made Sweden's camp.

I take it since Dineen went to the OHL, he's "ineligible" for Team USA? Because he's having a very nice bounceback year.

Nice, maybe when he's NHL ready he can help us win a damn game. Just kidding, that's never going to happen.

I'm pumped for the WJCs, it's always fun hockey.

The US has CHL players on the preliminary WJC squad, like Logan Brown, Max Jones, and Kailer Yamamoto. All the invited Dmen are college players though.

Sounds like Westerlund made it onto a very strong team for his defensive ability to complement their puckmovers.

Looks like Steenbergen might be starting the tournament as the 13th forward. Should have opportunities to move up if he plays well when he gets a chance. The player that starts as the 13th often doesn't finish there.

Took a lazy penalty in the 1st and has had limited shifts the rest of the game.
