Luongo took a puck off his blocker hand odd early on in practice and was wincing...went over to trainers after a bit and had it checked out. Seemed fine in locker room after practice.

Another option could be Mikkel Boedker from Arizona, a cheaper, younger option, though also set to be UFA. After that it becomes pretty slim pickings unless we take a RW. I'm sure natural LW is preferred.

If the Guds needs to take it easy then he shouldn't participate; stay at med bay until recharged to 100%. Furthermore, Kampfer shouldn't be playing if he has a busted knee that might require surgery. Matheson/Racine/Olsen should be in for the rest of the season if that's the case.

I personally would LOVE to see Guddy with Matheson. But I don't think they'd give Matheson or Petro more ice time than soup or Guddy

I still don't understand why they're playing Kampfer almost every game with the condition that his knee is in or even at all if he can injure himself seriously. With Matheson in the lineup for now, I figure Gallant might as well give him the ice time with the big boys. Otherwise, I'm fine calling up Olsen for the remainder of the season if Matheson is getting sent back to Portland.

These were the lines at practice again so it sounds like this will be the game lineup for tomorrow.

Rau-Bjugs-Acquired Winger
Howden-Mack-Shaw/Thornton/Wilson

If Rau and Bjugs click, that'd give us three threatening lines every night.
