It's just painful listening to the canned cliches by the players in those pregame interviews. You can just tell they want this season to be over so they can get the hell out of Edmonton for a while.

Every year I'm usually the event planner for guys night out. This year I let my friends handle the Oilers games so technically I don't have the tickets physically on hand. I was too bitter from the offseason moves that Chia made to bother organizing games

I've got a feeling he doesn't really have the passion anymore. Maybe he feels it's time to take a break, possibly for a reason we don't know (just speculating). And why not get yourself fired when you make the full salary until the end of the contract that way.
