So this is the most time off the team has had since the season started. A lot has been made of how little practice time they've had an what not. They also have 3 days off next week too.

Will be interesting to see if there are any identifiable improvements from the extra days off.

Yeah seems like the Yotes always get the worst fall schedules. I really think this is done to help with ticket sales. Give the team a lot of home games when the snowbirds are in town and have less competion with other local sports. Usually why the team seems to play better in Feb/March.

Pretty much need to hope Buffalo, Florida and Edmonton lose all of their games and we manage to beat Boston.

Which I don't see happening.

LOL

Didn't even see the schedule.

Boston, Blackhawks, Penguins, Blue Jackets, Lightning, Panthers.

Our next win might be against Florida, and no, not the lightning Florida. haha

Can't hate a team like the Bruins since they trolled Vancouver hard and trolled Blake Wheeler by trading him before the deadline the same season they won the cup.
Hear Hear! Best thing they have done lol.

I am actually interested in how the Yotes play after some practice time. It appears that they are normally pretty decent in the games following it. Time will tell!

Last year: 4-6-3 with 3+ days off between games
2015-16: 10-7-3 with 3+ days off between games
2014-15: 4-15-2 with 3+ days off between games
2013-14: 11-4-5 with 3+ days off between games
2012-13: 2-4-2 with 3+ days off between games (condensed season)
11-12: 16-5-2
10-11: 10-7-5
09-10: 13-4-1

Honestly, looks like our performance on games with additional days off between are almost a microcosm of how we performed on the year. I am kind of throwing out the 12-13 season, b/c of the 48 game schedule. So, hopefully that isn't the case this year.... (0-4-1 so far with 3+ days between games)

For the record, if a game is played on the 2nd, followed by the game on the 5th, that is the 3 day window I am referring to. Not 3 true days in between (playing on the 2nd followed by the 6th)
