If Crosby was drafted by Atlanta (hypothetically speaking)

Would it be one of the best lines of the past decade or 2.

Heatley Crosby Kovalchuk

What were some other very skilled and dominant lines?
How would this line compare to:

Stevens Lemieux Jagr (if they even played on same line)
whoever played Gretz Kurri
Give me some other great lines over since 1980 that would be better or be comparable to my proposed line in Atlanta

lindros - leclair - renberg line known as the legion of doom in the mid 90s was a dominant line, when they were all in their prime.

tikkanen played w gretzky and kurri

the line of federov - kozlov - larionov was very good

but if you had crosby with his vision and playmaking ability on a line w kovalchuk and heatley they would absolutely dominate, it would potentially be one of the best lines in the last 25 years or so.

Atlanta wouldn't do that. Heatley and Kovalchuk don't even play on the same line. It's called spreading the offence. Just like Malkin and Ovechkin didn't play on the same line for Russia.

I know that, I was asking hypothetically. And they might put all 3 on the same PP line.

For all the Jets fans in the house:
Tkachuk-Zhamnov-Selanne or Tkachuk-Janney-Selanne

The Blues also had a couple of pretty good lines in the early 90's (also including Janney! ):
Hull-Janney-Shanahan or Hull-Oates-Shanahan
