Kingston wins Game #3 - 4-1 to take a 2-1 lead in the series.
(Note - Game #3 was played in Sudbury and not North Bay due to a conflict at North Bays Memorial Gardens.)

Kingston was led by Gabe Vilardi and Jason Robertson who each scored two goals.
Game #4 is Thursday night in North Bay.

Cliff Pu had one assist - assisted on what turned out to be the game winning goal by Vilardi.
He also had two shots on net and was 13 for 19 on face-offs.

LaxSabre - I know this is a Cliff Pu/Kingston Frontenacs thread but since we don't have a junior hockey thread and that Niagara and Hamilton are just over the border, there may be some people on here that may want to attend a game or two. So heres the schedule for their Eastern Conference Semifinal Series. Winner of that series will play the winner of Kingston/Barrie in the Eastern Conference Finals.

As someone who attends a good number of USHL and OHL games - GO! Honestly I bet you'll have more fun and be more entertained by the hockey and the experience than you have at Key Bank Center in a LONG time. It's worth the trip across the border.

Amen brother!

On that note, who isn't looking forward to this Kingston-Barrie match-up? A 2nd round dandy! This one should be tons of fun. I expect Pu will once again see a lot of ice time against Svechnikov and his positively filthy line. Lots of talent and excitement in that tilt and some things of interest to us.

Cliff Pu (2016, third round) had a productive week, notching six points in the week's three games including a two-goal, one-assist outing Thursday in a 6-3 win at North Bay.

The Frontenacs eliminated the Battalion in five games, with Pu amassing two goals and nine points in the first-round series. Kingston now moves on to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs where they'll take on Barrie.

Sportsbook - Both Eastern Conference Semifinal Game #1's are up to bet. They are both being played tonight.

Cliff Pu and Kingston are 140/100 (1.40) underdogs to Barrie 100/150 (0.67).

I put $1,630 for Kingston to win ($1,000 since its a playoff game and 63 with an added 0 - is because #63 is Cliff Pu's #.)

Niagara are also the underdogs (100/120 - 1.20) to Hamilton (100/130 - 0.77) - I put $1,000 on Niagara to win.

Go Pu! Go Kingston! Go Niagara!

Edit - The Kingston-Barrie game was the only Eastern Conference Semifinal Game #1 that was played tonight.

Game #1 of the Niagara-Hamilton Eastern Conference Semifinal Series will be played on Thursday.
