Interesting. There wasn't a fit when he was bought out but they needed another guard with Waiters out for the season. I'm not sure if this version of Wade is what they needed but we'll see how it goes. It's good to have him back though and he'll be able to retire with the Heat.

Riley being a selfish arse is the reason he left in the first place, at least now Wade can move his family back to Miami and stay there forever. Even if he's less than half the player he used to be, hes the best player in franchise history and a great vet to have around.

The roster is younger and athletic now. But it really doesn't matter as LeBron is as good as gone now. Which he likely was prior to the season anyhow.

Where he ends up is still a question. But he will continue to pass the buck on Gilbert on the way out. As if he wasn't partially responsible at the very least.

My guess is Wade retires at the end of the season or sticks around another year. It made sense to send him home, if not for Pat Riley's selfishness he would have never left.
"Selfish" to not pay washed up Wade loool

LeBron basically running his own team into the ground. He's going to leave them in ruins. Again.
Running them into the ground? By acquiring quality young talent in Hood, Clarkson, and sort of Nance? While getting rid of the oldheads like Wade and Rose? This post is stupid lol

It doesn't really matter when the pick is. Apparently it's so heavily protected that it'll never actually convey. They just had to put something in the deal because you can't trade a player for nothing in return.

Wade took paycuts basically his entire time in Miami so Riley could field a championship team. He was consistently one of the most underpaid players and did it that way for Rileys sake. Wade was already washed up in 2016 and he showed that in Chicago the following season.

He should retire after this season. He's cooked.

Might stick around just for fan support and to be a mentor a la Udonis Haslem.
