I haven't heard of many CHL free agents being signed yet. From what I've read and heard, there are a few guys out there worth looking at. Guys like Marty St. Pierre and some others. Anyone know if any guys are going to sign, what sort of interest there is, etc.

I'm pretty sure St.Pierre signed with a canadian university team, i believe Dalhousie, he was also selected in one of the WHA drafts.

Detroit is always good for signing one or two(Robinson, Williams, Ellis). Usually I see CHL players sign with a club near the end of the season or at training camp. I always figured it was because the GM's are busy in the off-season signing UFA's and RFA's.

The Wings signed Eric Himelfarb just before the AHL playoffs, and he played very well.

Other than that though, i haven't heard much.
