From Maurice's presser, it sounds like Chiarot will be out until towards the end of the season. The O'Dell call up is curious and I am wondering if someone else is injured or DTD. Perhaps they called up O'Dell to move Buff back on defense as others alluded to.

O'Dell makes perfect sense. They haven't wanted to waive one of their 9 d out of fear of losing him. With a d on IR no reason not to use it to balance out the roster. No team wants to go with 12 forwards and 9 d on their active roster if they don't have to.

Enough with the injuries however.

Poor Armia as well.......this is what the Buffalo fans mentioned was one of the reasons he wasn't on the Sabers.... When opportunity on the parent club presented itself he would be injured.....victim of bad timing.

That's the best I could do...

Maybe when Wheels comes back this is an opportunity, put Trouba-Buff as the 2nd pair, Stuart/Pardy-Postman as the 3rd. Tough break, but perhaps an opportunity for players to step up, as they did before when I asked to answer the bell.
