Call them both up. What could be the worst that happens we lose a game? At least it would be a "new" way to lose instead of the same old junk they keep serving and telling us is Filet mignon. We all know what it really is.

What if we are actually sitting on a 30 goal scorer in either Zykov or Foegele. Would be quite nice.

Ned knows what we need. Goaltending *and* scoring.

He has as many goals as Kruger has down there in 8 games. More than Jooris got in 5 games. More than Josh Wesley in 17 games. Woof.

I guess Ned can handle the puck ok. Which is apparently vital to Peters system. Hmmmm....

Another W for the Chex. 7 wins in their last 10 games.

Should move them up to 6th in the East I think. They were sitting in the 8th spot last week.

Playoffs are top 4 in each division I'm pretty sure. Checkers seem fairly likely to get the #4 spot in their division if they get in, and play Lehigh Valley.

I'm at the Place Bell for my first live Checkers game. It's my 4 year old first live hockey game. Look for the weird guy with the Whalers jersey.

I'll try to write my comments later tonight.

Wow Laval is a really bad team... And I don't see a single legit NHL prospect on this lineup. They made some brutal turnovers.

I have not been impressed with our global defensive play. We gave up 4 breakaways - including a 2-on-0 - in the first half of the game. Ned was great, very athletic. We took our first penalty at the very end of the game and gave up 2 goals while on the PK. Not a nice ending to a somewhat easy game.

Wallmark-McKegg-Saarela were very creative offensively and were dangerous almost every time they stepped on the ice. Dominant line. Saarela has such a great shot.

Gauthier-Roy-Kuokkanen had a few good offensive sequences. Gauthier could have easily ended up with 1 goal and 2 assists.. But ended up with 0 points, a brutal turnover to give up a breakaway, and a few selfish plays I didn't really like. It looks to me he tried to do too much, especially on the zone entrances.

Kruger lol this guy will not be back in the NHL. I didn't really see Foegele. He doesn't play a major offensive role on the team - I think - and didn't do much during the game..
