I wonder what we have in Foegele. He seems to be a PK specialist. I can recall a few mentions last year that he was solid on the PK and scored quite a few shorties in juniors. That should likely at least make him a solid depth player in the NHL, wonder if he has a little more upside than though.

I don't know if I'm way off but watchjng his highlights remind me of a mixture of Carl Hagelin & Matt Cullen for some reason.

Only if (a) the Canes have lost of injuries or (b) they are out of it an trade a bunch of guys at the deadline.

I think he was one of the final contestants, we just had a great year for contestants.

Yeah. He, Kuokkanen, Di Guiesseppe and Wallmark were some of the last ones on the NHL roster (along with Necas). Really depends what the Canes need when/if injuries occur.

Lol damn I forgot about Stempniak. Yeah I can see him being gone if the season doesn't go according to plan. Saarela Has had a decent start in the AHL , I was really surprised that Kuokkanen outplayed him and some other guys during the pre season.

They really shouldn't though, the team played pretty terribly but managed to luck out and win. Horrible passing, lots of blind passes, turnovers 3ft in front of our own net...Ganly, Wesley, and Samuelsson we're pretty rough. Foegle played well, Roy looked a bit slow, Needaspellcheck gets way out of the net had good reflexes and can't fault him for either goal. It was a fugly game though.

It may be early in the season, but I'd take any kind of win for the canes right now. Even winning by forfeit because the other team all got botulism from spoiled macaroni salad at a luncheon the day of the game.
