Phoenix Coyotes are open to discussions in trading for our #3 pick. Mostly interested in more picks... preferably a couple of first rounders or early second rounders.

PM if interested.

100% updated. Thanks to speedshank for 2 links that came and will still become very, very helpful. I cant stress enough that you need to PM the GM picking after you so that he or she knows its their pick.

6. Edmonton -
7. Columbus -
8. Boston -

15. Edmonton (From NYI) -
16. Anaheim (From TB) -
17. Calgary -
18. Minnesota -
19. Pittsburgh -
20. Phoenix (From DAL) -
21. Philadelphia (From NAS) -
22. St Louis (From ATL : division champ) -
23. NYR (still in the playoff so they have a lower pick?)
24. Ottawa -
25. Montreal (From SJ) -
26. Vancouver (still in the playoff - division champ)
27. St Louis (From NJ/SJ) -
28. Edmonton (From ANA)

PocketNines explains this well

A large number of people seem not to know how spots 15-30 will be determined. There was a change this year. In March (after the trade deadline), the Board of Govs voted 23-6 with 1 abstention to give the 30th pick to the Cup winner, 29th to the Cup runner-up, 28th and 27th to the losing conference finalists based on inverse of regular season point total.

THEN, picks 15-26 are distributed to the 12 teams that lose in the first two rounds. Pick 26 goes to the division winning team with the highest regular season point total that lost in rounds 1 or 2. Pick 25 goes to the next highest division winner. There will always be at least 2 division winners knocked out in the first two rounds, and possibly up to all 6. So, if all 6 division winners lose in the first two rounds (say, the conference finalists are Calgary-San Jose and Ottawa-NYR), then picks 21-26 would go in this order: Atlanta 21, Vancouver 22, NJ 23, Anaheim 24, Detroit 25, Buffalo 26.

There is no distinction between losing in rounds 1 or 2. So round 1 eliminated Pittsburgh with 105 regular season points isn't jumping in front of the 94-point Rangers if the Rangers lose in round 2.

Right now Atlanta was a division winner who lost in the first two rounds. We are waiting to see how many other division winners will drop. If one more drops, Atlanta is 25th. Two more, Atlanta is 24th and so on. If Calgary, Tampa and Dallas all win their first round series, Atlanta (to STL) picks no worse than 23.

For the record, non-division winners finished this way in points:
Nashville - 110
San Jose - 107 (51 wins)
Dallas - 107 (50 wins)
Ottawa - 105 (48 wins)
Pittsburgh - 105 (47 wins)
Minnesota - 104
Calgary - 96
NYR - 94
Tampa - 93
NYI - 92

Trades aside, with Minnesota, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, NYI, Nashville, Tampa, Calgary and Dallas eliminated:
Islanders will get the 15th pick.
Tampa gets the 16th pick.
Rangers get the 17th, 27th, 29th or 30th pick.
Calgary gets the 18th pick if Buffalo beats the Rangers, otherwise 17th.
Minnesota gets the 19th pick if Buffalo beats the Rangers, otherwise 18th.
Pittsburgh gets the 20th pick if Buffalo beats the Rangers, otherwise 19th.
Ottawa gets the 20th, 21st, 27th or 29th-30th pick.
Dallas gets between the 20th and 22d pick.
San Jose at best picks 21st up to 23d or 28th-30th.
Nashville gets between the 21st and 24th pick.
Atlanta gets between the 22d and 25th pick.
Vancouver goes between 23d and 30th.
NJ goes between 24th and 30th but not 28th.
Anaheim goes between 24th and 30th.
Detroit goes between 25th and 30th.
Buffalo goes either 26th or 28th-30th.

What I take from this is teams will move around based on the Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Finals. For instance, if the Rangers (my team) gets bounced this round they are still at pick 17. However, if they win this round they will place 27th for being the fourth best team left.

If the draft is starting today, it may be a little to early. However, if the second round finishes with the 16th pick or so yet to go I think we can do it.

I got it from a site. And im going by the conclusion that Buffalo will win because they are ahead. CHICAGO IS ON THE CLOCK. It's actaully the site Manhattan has on and this is how it will start out as.

If any of the #6-10 teams are interested in trading that pick plus another for the #4, let me know!

The Phoenix Coyotes are proud to draft from Halifax QJMHL Jakub Voracek.

Originally the yotes were interested in trading down but with Voracek available at No. 3, the yotes could not trade down.

Voracek is the best player in the draft and Phoenix has a star player to build their team around.

Los Angeles has been PM.

thats a bold statement about Voracek saying that Phoenix know has a star player to build around being that you guys did draft Mueller last year, nonetheless Voracek is a great pick.
