One thing I don't understand is how Riku Helinius is the 5th ranked European goaltender......that's simply insane.

He should be picked in the top 2 rounds, how there are 4 goalies ranked ahead of him is a mystery to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is drafted in the first round...

I was also looking for Degray and saw that he was ranked 68 in NA, which would be late 3rd or early 4th...

I saw him two times and I thought he looke really good. Not a lot of potential, but a steady Dman. I could see him turning into a Craig Rivest kind of D which is really good for a 4th rounder...

Billy Sauer... 13th amongst NA goalies...

WHAT?
That's not too surprising. He had a great start to the season, as did the Wolverines, but like the whole team he struggled after the Thanksgiving break College Hockey Showcase all the way to the end of the season. Ended up splitting time with senior Noah Ruden (who ultimately got the nod during the playoff run). Sauer became pretty inconsistent. One good game, followed up by a bad game. Started to let in a lot of soft goals. Even he said after the season that he needs to work on his consistency. But he entered college as a 17 year old and didn't even play a full season in the USHL as the starting goalie (split time his one season in Chicago). He had a lot of pressure to perform from the get go, probably too many expectations considering Michigan brought in 10 other freshmen and only had three seniors. I think the talent is still there, but there's definitely room for improvement in his game.

Yes it is. I still feel is a better pick than a Bernier or any of the other goalies in the draft as of right now. His raw skills are incredible and he has a great work ethic.
Have you seen Bernier play? He's just so calm and relaxed in front of his net. A great goalie

I have seen him play and wasn't overly impressed with him. Not that I don't think he's a first round pick or anything insane like that, just wasn't WOWed by him. Sauer has had a number of WOW moments for me this year (coupled by a number of ***? moments as well).

I don't know. It's personal preference, that's all. I'm sure some people prefer Irving to both of them.

The usual Bizarro rankings from the CSB. Fiala ahead of Wishart? Calla ahead of David Fischer? Frazer McLaren ahead of Ryan McDonough and Cody Wild? Logan Pyett in the 5th round?

They may seem "Bizarro" relative to what we've been conditioned to think of as the consensus, but I'm sure that you could find 30 more equally "Bizarro" lists by polling the NHL teams. i.e. There is no consensus. This will be a fun draft.

Joenssu 18th from all eurpeans, that is stupid. And they forgot Gawlik. But germans are always underrated at the draft day...

Someone will grab Frazer Mclaren in the third or fouth round. The guy is huge and tough and has improved his skating greatly which was a big concern for him. He's sorta going to be the proto-typical "new" tough guy that the NHL will need. Big and can skate.
