I don't have my hopes up just yet, but this week they have the Chiefs (6-2) at home and then the Saints at home the following Thursday. So if they can pull off the Chiefs game, they would be in a position to play for an even record and no worse than even standing with the Saints for 2nd in the division.

Still a pretty long shot, but the Chiefs game is pretty critical to any thoughts of a comeback run at the wild card.

Holy ****, I have never seen somebody react like that to an injury. That was scary. Reminds you that these are actual human beings playing a game that entertains us. Here's hoping he bounces back quickly.

Might just be a guy that realizes that head injuries are serious and has experienced one before. Lots of guys have said they prefer high hits and head injuries to leg injuries, but maybe he's someone that gets that's not necessarily ideal, healing time tables aside.

He could very well have had his breath knocked out and his bell rung simultaneously, which would feel like something close to dying. Hard to say, but I can imagine someone having a panic reaction to that feeling.

Whatever it was, it's clearly something that he'd never experienced in his 20 years of foobaw.

It just asks too much of the players.
