I don't think it was the timeout that is the issue; it's that if you're wrong on an offsides challenge, it's a penalty.

Gotcha. Either way, one look at the replay and it was obvious that was offside. Potentially cost us the game tonight, that's unacceptable at this point in the season. Particularly when part of your job description is to review video replay.

Really disappointing game to be at. Just awful.

Ultimately, the players weren't good, but the majority of the blame goes to DeBoer and the referees - the game winning goal was offside and the refs missed a good deal of other calls as well.

I've seen worse from DeBoer. Wasn't the best game but they were also quite a bit unlucky. I know Jones saved them couple of times but the game could also go the other way. Sharks also had their chances. I'm particularly mad that Meier hit the post on that PP. Could potentially cost me my playoff fantasy matchup. I'm only one PPP ahead of him and the goal also would have ruined Grubauer's (his player) shutout. I'm still ahead but it's gonna be close because of it. I'm 2x pissed about this game...

Only thing good about that game was the stick lift by Pickles on Ove...on to the next one, but if these guys don't start playing a little more consistently it's going to be a short playoff season...

I actually thought Burns had a very solid game. He was a possession monster in the NZ and didn't have any awful scoring gaffe.
