I'm all for the NHL keeping the game clean, and I'm expecting players to need some time to adjust, but these penalties are getting crazy.

Edit: Also kudos to the NHL for not giving us free center ice games for the preseason. Heaven forbid you try to sell the game a little.

Will Butcher looked real real bad on Walkers goal. While Colorado shouldn't have burned bridges with him prematurely (causing him to walk for free), their initial thought process that led to them not having him in their future plans wasn't off base.

its a practice game. refs are looking for chances to get both teams on their special teams for practice.
