Hi Guys..........I have collected these names from the posts in this post

Would anyone like to put trade values to these names (wanting picks and A prospects)

Just put the Pass, if you thing, there is no value to the Canucks or the trading team........

Brent Seabrook....... 6 years at $6,875,000.........$41,250,000
Milan Lucic.............. 5 years @ $6,000,000......$30,000,000
Bobby Ryan.............. 4 years @ $7,250,000.......$29,000,000
Andrew Ladd ...........5 years @ $5,500,000........$27,500,000
Karl Alzner .............. 4 years @ $4,625,000........$18,500,000
Brandon Dubinsky... 3 years @ $5,850,000........$17,550,000
Andrew Shaw ..........4 years @ $3,900,000........$15,600,000
Martin Gaborick....... 3 years @ $4,875,000........$14,625,000
Zack Bogosian......... 2 years @ $5,142,857..........$10,285,704
Andy MacDonald..... 2 years @ #5,000,000.......$10,000,000
Andy Greene............ 2 years @ $5,000,000.......$10,000,000
Jason Speza .............1 year @ $7,500,000............$7,500,000
Brooks Orpik............ 1 year @ 5,500,000.............$5,500,000
Tyler Ennis ..............1 year @ $4,600,000...........$4,600,000
Matt Moulson ..........1 year @ $3, 975,000...........$3,975,000

This might end up as a training exercise for me, as I usually have trouble with player values at the best of times.

Thanks

Wait Ladd is wrong, or most of these potentially. Salary needs to be considered, not cap. 23 million left for Ladd and if we wait for July 2nd, 18 million.

It's a bit of an oversimplification, but only 1 or maybe 2 year deals make sense. Your list should include Jason Pominville, Tyler Ennis, Troy Brouwer and Jori Lehtera. Ryan Callahan, Dan Girardi, Braydon Coburn, Matt Moulson, Michael Stone, and Jay Bouwmeester could be on your list.

There are some intriguing 3 year contracts but the NMC's must lapse if the players agree to a deal. Expansion is coming again soon. Travis Zajac is on that list, as is Dubinsky who you already mentioned.

Andrew Ladd, Seabrook and Lucic contracts are non-starters.

The Hossa contract was mentioned by Gillman. It's ideal because there is no cash component to worry about. It also only hurts in the first week of October.

Orpik makes the most sense to me. Cause we could actually use him as our d is the worst in the league. Orpik and a 2nd for our 4th?

Or Ennis maybe but that would probably cost more

Our team is terrible, so really the player attached the contract is inconsequential. They could be good now, or good historically, but were simply interested, for the purpose of this thread, in eating these contracts. Two seconds for 30 million dollars isn't worth it.

I don't think you understand the purpose of taking on contracts. The team taking on the bad contract is doing a favour for the other team. Not the other way around.
Benning really like Lucic though.

How about a deal around Lucic and Sutter?
