How was signing Sautner a bad move, and how is re-signing him a bad move? It's a two-way deal and Utica already has no defense (the Canucks traded Holm and Subban for Leipsic and Dowd within the season).

You're right they need dmen in Utica. I just dont see any upside whatsoever in Sautner.

Solid signing for the comets, can probably be a callup if needed. Canucks need to start keeping some of these 3rd-4th year guys whom are not yet AHL vets.
