I'm interested to see where Philly can cut salary if they did indeed sign Lecavalier. They've used the compliance buyouts and don't have a lot of expendable players at forward.

I guess they may end up trading Coburn, or get lucky and find a taker for Meszaros.

I guess they may end up trading Coburn, or get lucky and find a taker for Meszaros.

I don't think they can trade Coburn unless its for more D help. He's one of their only legit top 4 guys.

Mez needs to GTFO though.

They bought out Bryz anf Briere and Pronger is on the LTIR, well he will be come September.

EDIT: Pronger is on LTIR, so in practical terms they're not as tight as it looks as they can work with his $5M.
