:propeller If Staal, Savard, Spezza, McCabe, Turco are all left off this roster...like it appears they may, the Canadian Braintrust better have some answers should Canada not win Gold. Loyalty has put Brodeur(whose having a very sub-par season), Pronger, Foote, Bertuzzi, Draper...all players having poor years...as almost automatics on this team. All these players won Gold in 2002. This is 2006. Acknowledgement to the top players of today appears to be a secondary issue.

Ppl say the same thing each time the team is announced.

Playing in a division and conference where points are a little easier to come by have certainly padded Marc's stats this year. Playing with Kovalchuk and Hossa hasn't hurt, either.
But it has not helped his lack of foot speed, his lack of desire, or his weak work ethic.
I realize that Morrison is underperforming a bit this year, .
But Morrison is still a far better skater, penalty-killer and leader than Marc Savard will ever be. And while I acknowledge that Savard is an offensive specialist, keep in mind that over their careers Savard has .77 points per game, Morrison has .73, so the difference isn't huge by any stretch.
Snoooorrrrrreeeee.. :nopity: :nopity: :nopity:
