If this report is true(haven't seen it anywhere but SCH) could de Haan end up LTIRetiring?
I'd imagine his shoulders are pretty f***ed at this point.

Only one thing to do now, we gotta trade for Vermette using the money we get from De Haan going on LTIR. Once Game 1 of the playoffs starts, De Haan comes back and helps us win a cup.

Too early to make that call.

But he'll be 29 by the time he recovers so maybe it's something he considers if he doesn't want to risk making things worse.

Could be. My guess is he gives another go. Regardless hopefully everything works out for him.

Powers said there's no official timeline on de Haan yet. It's weird. I checked Twitter and found no tweet by Powers that confirms this.
