I'm with Matty on this one. That sounds like such a terrible way to play the game since you're camping in one spot the entire time...which in effect is exactly what the snipers are doing. To me, it ruins the game just as much as playing objective based games where your teammates only go for kills and never try to get the objectives.

It’s not that, it’s a tatcic. That’s one of the major challenges for regular CoD players. What I do, frees up space and time for the rest of the team to go after objectives and pick off snipers at their leisure. Further more with the bouncing Betty’s getting replenished again and again, it causes more players to focus on me now instead of their camp spots or objectives (it’s not uncommon to have three or more players go after me at once when I shut down their normal routines). I love it.

I'd agree. London has gotten a little campy, but nowhere near what you see with USS Texas one. My lord, you can't even move on that map with some teams.

You can (Texas), you just need to know where the strong defensive positions are as well as shooting though walls. It’s tough in hardcore but normal maps, you can prestige your shovel/pick ax/tench knife pretty quickly in the indoors portion of the map.

As for London, flank the team and if you’re playing DOM, don’t cap the enemy’s furthest flag and proceed to pick off the enemy from behind.

I want to run around and have fun, which is hard to do on Gustav because of all the snipers and dudes sitting in buildings with LMGs. I'm not saying you're wrong for playing like that, it's just that I don't like to play that way. As such, I don't like the map.

At least from my time With the game (couple days) the maps seem to be plain and basic (besides the terrible maps like gustav and one other) At least they aren’t terrible like some cod4 maps. (The boat,bloc)

Big update today for PS4/Xbox, the three bold ones being my favs. The custom emblem sharing seems cool though I'm not sure I would use it.


MULTIPLAYER
Connectivity/Spawns/Performance/Split Screen/Mechanics
  • Integrated spectator issue fix that went live on PC. The issue is network connection dependent, however this fix prioritizes model streaming order to eliminate the delay seen on initial start. We will continue to monitor on all platforms for any Phase 2 fixes needed.

Got the new SMG gun in a supply drop on day 1. That thing is going to get nerfed quick lol. High capacity and medium damage with high recoil. Drop the recoil and put on FMJ bullets and you pretty much become a one-man wrecking crew.
