I don't think the team ever used it, but it may have been implicitly or explicitly approved for generic league marketing as it appeared in hockey cards and alike.

W.A. Goodman & Sons was a significant apparel manufacturer in California in the 1970s and the 1980s. I think their actual jerseys were made by Wilson though.

The original purple and green uniforms of the Oakland Seals from the late ‘60s—before Charlie O. Finley acquired the team and changed the logo and the colors—looked really cool, and were probably my favorite of all the Expansion uniforms looking back: 1967-68 Oakland Seals - The (unofficial) NHL Uniform Database

Wayne Gretzky, in an interview with Mark Greczmiel for the latter’s documentary on the Seals, said he really liked these uniforms.
