CALGARY (CP): It was a view that Brett Clark has not seen for a while. And that was his teammates on the ice - without him. Clark, and Kevin Dallman, both watched practice from the stands as the Flames prepare to take on the San Jose Sharks tonight. Both players were informed by the GM that they were not to practice with the team until the details of two separate trades were finalized.

Clark and Dallman, both free agent pick-ups, were shocked and surprised.

"I hope that I move to a team that has aspirations as this Calgary team does. I've really settled into the Flames scheme and it's dissapointing to be leaving" said Clark.

Clark has played in all 36 games for the Flames. He has 9 goals and 17 points, and is a +8.

Dallman has been the Flames 7th defenseman, and has seen action in 7 games, and has 1 point and is -2.

No details on who the trades are with, or the players coming back, although it's rumored that the Toronto Maple Leafs are somehow involved in the deals.
