If you have to take proof of doing something thoughtful & good or tell about it to people, i cannot help but think that you did it to show everyone what a "good person" you are.

That only makes you a cynical person, and I'm not sure if it's any better. But hey, we can agree to disagree on this.

Back on topic: I like the kid's game and believe he will go in top 10 at the draft.

This is where I'll disagree. You can't really bring any attention to a person's memory and make people think about them just by going to their grave. Something like this has far more meaning - Even if he was just publishing it on facebook among his small group of friends and wasn't a public figure. For instance, me quietly going to visit the grave of my grandma is quite different from me taking a picture of me visiting her grave and describing what she meant to me with a couple of words. One of the two is far more meaningful.

Yes, one of the two is more meaningful. The one where you did it because you thought it had meaning in itself to do it. Not the one where you did it because you wanted it to have meaning (through the eyes of a third party). I agree with Paul, in that case the importance is diverted from the act itself to the person doing it and it's kind of lame. Well, in the case of your grandma, not much of a problem, but brings to mind all of these videos on Facebook where some jock bought shoes for a lesser fortunate classmate only to film it and make himself look good. Disgusts me.

I think you’re reading to much into it. That’s our world today, nothing about the act came off as being about Jesperi. To me it’s comimg off as wanting recognition given to someone he really cared about and is no longer here.

So, is the gap between him and Zadina small enough to justify taking a chance on him because of position need if you're MTL?

And, does he even project as a center longer term or will he be one of those guys who switches to the wing?

Think the habs take a him or a dman over zadina. Could see zadina slipping to 6-9 range when all said and done.

U18 Liiga scoring. Mikko Rantanen is absent from this list because he was a U19 player in his draft year.

Hey, quoting you and this again because I have a more general question. Did you just pull this yourself because if you're familiarity with Finnish prospects or did you query something and those are the results.

I'm looking for a way to query leagues like Liiga and SHL and sort by points for D, D+1 seasons etc and stuff like that so figured I'd ask.

It's literally just copy pasted from eliteprospects.com. The formatting is handled automatically.

Well, that depends on how practical your viewpoints are. Personally, I don't think that quietly going to visit a grave alone is very useful if you actually want to accomplish something. It's something you are doing for yourself and yourself only. On the other hand, bringing it up publically or discussing it with others can make others think about the person as well, even though they otherwise wouldn't have done so. That's much more meaningful to me.

Your mileage might vary.

Why? I've considered him a top 5 prospect for well over a year.
Well agreed to disagree then. I think he's a really good prospect but guys like Pettersson, Dahlin, Svechnikov, Zadina, Tolvanen, Mittelstadt and Heiskanen have to be rated higher, right? And even if he's a top five prospect, that hardly guarantees that he'll be a superstar.

6 ft 3 and hands like Datsyuk. There is superstar potential there.
I like him as a prospect too, but hands like Datsyuk?!

Like you said, agree to disagree

Pettersson and Dahlin and Svechnikov, I'd rather him than all the others

Guys with his size, skating, vision, hands and shot most definitely have superstar potential.

I'd easily take Heiskanen over Borgstrom.

Don't know between Kotka& Borg, the age difference is pretty large. Probably would end up with Kotkaniemi in the end.
