Started off the season on a strong note, 16 points in 11 GP (6G, 10A). Stock slowly increasing.

His Dad, Tim had a short stint with the New Jersey Devils a while back. And was drafted in 1988.

More assists as he’s now 2nd in league scoring with 21 pts in 17 GP (7G, 14A). His playmaking ability and vision is very impressive. Coming out of the BCHL very unnoticed and could be a late riser. He went late in the WHL draft around round 5 because of his size which has not proven to be an issue.

He's the first high-end BCHL prospect I can think of who hasn't played for Penticton.

Now up to 25 pts in 19GP. He now is tied for the lead in points and has lead the Rivermen to the top of the league standings. Youngest player by a margin in the top 10 scoring leaders.

Scored a goal today against Czech Republic in the WJAC showcasing his speed and quick hands. His Canada West team moves on to the final.

Scored the first goal in then WJAC championship on a beauty short handed breakaway as Canada West wins the title again!

WJAC championship was the first time I saw him, thought he looked good. Quite a nice shorthanded goal, showed good speed and anticipation to get the breakaway, and finished with a perfect shot. He was pretty noticeable throughout the game, had a nice, well rounded skill set.

Hard to judge much from a single viewing, but liked his game, I certainly think he’ll be drafted.

After a standout WJAC, Brendan was invited along with his Langley Rivermen teammate Angus Crookshank to the CJHL (Canadian Junior Hockey League) Prospects Game on January 23rd. Watch out for the pair of them, as well as Jonny Tychonick and Stan Demin. They’ll be taking on Canada East and a team lead by Jack McBain again.

Now playing with Tri-City Storm in the USHL after leaving Denver; TC dropped Oliver Wahlstrom's space to add him. 3 assists in 4 games so far.

I see Budy is expected to play for Langley for 19-20. Any chance this dude reports to the Giants? Wonder if it were Kelowna if he'd report so he can play for the Memorial Cup

Looks like he officially signed with the Giants:
Giants sign former Langley Rivermen team captain - Langley Advance Times

Interesting career path...in the past two seasons he's been in the BCHL, at the University of Denver, in the USHL, committed to the University of North Dakota and now signed with Vancouver in the WHL.
