2 more assists, that makes it 110 points in 50 games.

Minus the injuries, the time spent at the world juniors
i'd say; more than decent season so far :) , too bad he had couple of slumps
could of been so much better.

Slumps? It happens. No one could have predicted how good he has played this season. Sounds bad to me to say that he "could of been much better". Yeah sure he could, but he is still a lot better than anyone thought.

Well...he did score 94 points (play-offs included) last season as a 17-18 year old euro rookie,
first time NHL size rink, different culture, living with a foster family. What he did last season,...
that-was-amazing!!!

Scoring 110 points at first look seems crazy good, but looking at it relatively...
not that much improvement,not really.

But if there were no world juniors,no injuries, we be looking at Hepo with 145-150 points,
and thats with current 2.2 ppg average, what the number would of been with 2.56 ppg average ( no slumps)...
but in reality, thats just silly speculation and its meaningless.

What? Not much improvement? He scored 86 points last year in 72 games. Now he has 110 in 50 games. That is not a big improment? Man your expectations must be sky high.

Guy is on pace for around 125 pts in his 2nd season and they want more. More I tell ya. Not worried about him at all. Would prefer him to add 5-7lbs in the off season and get better competition if possible? Think he would have to go to Finland/Europe because he's ineligible for AHL and very doubtful he makes the NHL next year.

Juolevi went to TPS for his +2 season.

Makes zero sense for Heponiemi to keep playing at this level, teaches him nothing, I'd say another year in juniors would make him a worse player.

With 2.2 avg ppg last 5 games, he'd get total of 125pts this season.
+ 15 missed games (with 2.2 ppg) = 158pts, but this is only theoretical,
- the WJC (5 games) = 10 games, 10 x 2.2 = 22, that would give him
total of 148 theoretical pts

Hepo has had few mini slumps this season:

8.10 - 13.10 : 3 games = 2+1 (1.00)
21.1 - 27.1 : 3 games = 0+2 (0.66)
9.2 - 14.2 : 4 games = 0+4 (1.00)
17.2 - 25.2 : 4 games = 2+2 (1.00)

38 games, 24+75=99pts (2.60)
- now that 2.60 avg he actually has had most of the season (2.56-2.60)
but due to his 10 points in 11 games about month in time,
it dropped from that to 2.2.

Now if he'd play 67 game regular season ( - the 5 wjc games)
with that 2.60 ppg -> 67 x 2.60 = 174

174 points, 174!!! a lot more than projected 125. (not to mention last season
which actually WOULD be one helluva improvement)

It still is. That was just not gonna happen. He has had an amazing season. And when he has been "slumping" he has still been almost a PPG player and I don't think it is a slump really.. That is a lot more than I expected from him before the season. Incredible improvement.

Sounds like you are just not happy with him as your expectations are really that high..

What's in store for him next year? Is he eligible for AHL? Is he ready for NHL?

Heponiemi isn't NHL ready and also not AHL eligible ( under 20 yrs old).
His options to next season are going back to Swift Current for 3rd season or men's games in SM liiga

Or
Maybe KHL? Jokerit could maybe be interested? Especially as they lose Tolvanen.
