Busy Leafs sign D Cale Hulse to offer sheet

The Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club have signed veteran defenseman Cale Hulse to an offer sheet. The club offered Hulse a two-year contract.

The Stanley Cup champion Atlanta Thrashers have 48 hours to match the offer sheet tendered to Hulse, should they choose not to do so, the Leafs would then send a 3rd round pick to Atlanta as compensation.

Given the fact that some of the Leafs everyday players include MORGAN WARREN??? ERIC GOOLDY??? and JONATHAN GAGNON???...Cale Hulse seems like a household name for fans entering the ACC!
