BEAUTS POWER PLAY!
@TheBostonPride penalty to #15, Emily Field, 2 minutes for body checking with 15:46 on the clock.
With 48 seconds on the clock, we’re called for a delay of game penalty, puck over the glass.
We’ll be shorthanded.
Buuutttttt….@TheBostonPride takes a penalty right after! 4-on-4 hockey for the last 26 seconds.

The last 2 Championships won by Professional Buffalo Sports teams were won by women. The Flash in 2010 and the Beauts last year.
The last Mens team to win a title was the Bandits 10 years ago.

The finalists were Maddie Elia, Kelsey Koelzer, Jenny Ryan and Hayley Scamurra – four amazing players!
Craig Muni: “Scams is the ultimate warrior and power forward.
She plays a sound 200-foot game, is great on special teams and shoots the puck hard with accuracy.
In our view, she has earned some consideration from the United States national team.”
Hayley Scamurra: “Excited and surprised! My fellow nominees all deserve this honor.
I want to thank my teammates, especially linemates Maddie and Kourtney.
We’ve created a team chemistry that has made every player better. Thanks also to our coaches and staff”!

It came down to a close race between All-Stars Katie Fitzgerald, Amanda Leveille, Brittany Ott and Sydney Rossman.
Ric Seiling: “Lev is a special individual from our inaugural draft.
She knew we had Bri (McLaughlin) and she only asked for a chance to compete.
She was not going to be satisfied being a backup.
That competitive spirit drives her to be the best & puts the Beauts in contention.
Amanda Leveille: “What a tremendous honor!
I’m a firm believer that a goaltender’s success is a reflection of the team in front of them.
I can’t thank my coaches and my teammates enough for helping me to achieve this prestigious award.”
