Very good signing. Very good skater. Very undersized, but good defensive IQ. EXCELLENT at closing in center ice and preventing zone entries. Very good puck mover (one of the top Corsi guys in all the NHL last year) but not a whole lot of actual offense.

1.4 million is a good deal for basically any NHL level defenseman, let alone a young one who seems to be a great contributor.

Really liked watching Grzelcyk in the playoffs. Didn't see much of him outside of that but he's more than capable of holding a #5 job and I don't think he'd do horrible if he had to play up in the lineup here and there as a fill in. Regardless, good contract value
