He's had some deep playoff runs and is the perfect experienced guy for a team with a young goalie. Too old to start but still good enough to challenge you. I'd overpay for him in Philly

True but he was badly exposed in the playoffs. While Khudobin the backup we had before him that we dumped for Halak carried Dallas to the finals.

Playoffs are more small sample size than people act.
He had a bad series vs the Lightning
It happens. He still has a career .919 sv% in the playoffs.

Everyone is hailing prices playoff run but he had just as bad of a series vs the Lightning as halak did the previous year.

Halak just had a couple bad games in game 2 and 3. He was great in game 1 and fine in games 2 and 5

He is getting older though and might have started his decline this last season with injuries.
