I think people are overreacting after a poor Olympics.

He only played 1 AHL game this year (and was great) but has practiced pretty much all year with Rochester. He still had a fair bit left in the tank at the end of last season with Buffalo too.

Even if he dropped off somewhat in that one year span, he can be a nice vet 4th liner / 13th forward for close to league minimum. I don't see the big fuss.
