Laine has a great start but we need to see more of his career to determine where he might end up. By about 25 we should have a really good idea. Ovi will likely go down as a top 3 scorer all time. I think Bobby Hull gets a little underrated in terms of goalscoring as well, had he not gone to the WHA at 34 I think he probably lands in the top 10 if he hadn't of left.
At worst I think Ovi plays 200-300 more games. Even if he can score at a slightly lower rate then he usually does he should manage to get into the top 3 by the time he's 36. After that it will all depend on longevity if he can make it into the top 2.
You can argue for Laine having the most impressive shot, Hull (maybe) the best one-timer, and Stamkos... being really good, but Ovechkin is definitely the best goalscorer.
