I think Erik Christensen could breakout in Pittsburgh if he gets top 6 icetime. He'd probably have to move to wing if Malkin comes over, though.

Jim Slater, Atlanta.

Great wheels, great vision, good on FO, has a touch...just needs more strength and the kid's going to have a nice career.

For Dallas, I really have no idea. Maybe Daley. Maybe Mietinnen. Maybe Hagman (yes, I know he's been showing flashes for years). Could be one of the younger guys, but it's probably going to be tough for any of them to make the team.

CBJ:
Dan Fritsche
Gilbert Brule
Duvie Westcott (he's kind of breaking out this year but next year - a contact year - will be huge for this guy)

Nathan Horton ... though he has semi a breakout player i guess. Look for 40 goals plus next season. Explosions are awesome.

Stewart could break out.

Nathan Horton

Chris Higgins and Tomas Plekanec for the Habs. IMO they will have much greater roles on the team next season and I expect a big jump in production.

Those would be my choices as well.

They're on my team in my keeper league. They BETTER break out. ;)

I'm pretty sure all 3 of these players broke out this season. Unless breaking out means 75 points in 82 games?

For the Rangers, Jarkko Immonen.

For the Islanders i think one of Tambellini or Nilsson will get a chance at top line minutes next year(not saying both will).

Mark Parrish, Oleg Kvasha and Brent Sopel will probably become All Stars as well since Milbury just traded them
