Players constantly re-create themselves. Both Radek Bonk and Marion Hossa were known as one-way offensive players who never entered into the defensive zone. By the time they left Ottawa, they were two of their best defensive players.
Yanic Perrault is another example of a one-way turned two-way player.
I'm not saying Bochenski will end up that way, but he is decent enough in his own end at this point that he could definitely find a role even if he isn't a top line winger. Admittedly, a scoring role seems to make the most sense given his skills right now, but one never knows.
I think he'll end up being a decent second line winger who gets you 25 goals ala Mark Parrish.
It also wouldn't surprise me if that ended up being with a team other than Ottawa, as he is prime trade bait going into the deadline. Ottawa can say they didn't lose a player on their team (pure addition because Bo isn't in their top 12 right now) while the team getting Bo can claim they got a player back who can play right away.
