The goal is to comprise a list of the top 25 goaltending prospects by first compiling as many of the top prospects in NHL, AHL, ECHL, OHL, NCAA, European leagues and elsewhere and then poll the lists so HF posters can determine the overall top 25.

Prospect criteria for this list: Age limit - 26 or younger & NHL Experience - 45 or less NHL games played prior to the start of the 2006/07 NHL season.

Please keep the posts on topic and don't make it a Rask vs. Pogge vs. Price debate.

    thanks

If so, Vasily Koshechkin needs to be on that list.

Ramo in with the AHL as well.

pretty good lists, the only major move i would make is on the AHL list, i would move Shwarz down maybe 6 places and Harding up to the top and there are some other guys to add to the NCAA list like Elliot.

It's pretty bad when the first name on your "ultimate" goaltending prospects list is spelled incorrectly.

Thanks for the note on the typo. It's been updated.

N.B. My apoligies to all if I make the odd typo. Its certainly not intended to devalue a prospect.

He has sucked lately. If he was any good, NSH wouldnt let him walk as a UFA.

He doesn't belong in the final top 25, but Jaroslav Halak could be added to the AHL list.

i think Cedrick Desjardin should be considered for the ECHL list. Memorial cup winner, and he was a player of the week in october as a rookie.

Curtis McElliney*sp, Tobias Stephan, Jaroslav Halak all for AHL.

Also If you have Trevor Cann on that list, you have to have the best performing goalie in the OHL right now in Thomas McCollum.

Is Schwarz really doing that well? If so, it's great to see him bounce back.

Its just a list of names and not a ranking. Per 1st post, ranking will be done via polls.:teach:

I know, but he wanted goalie prospects...and Finley is still only 25 ;)

Plus he's a Bruin, so had to name him
