if u check the ages of posters who dont appreciate bossy and how great he was you will coon discover they they are abour 20 to 27 yrs of age and way to young to recall the greatness of bossy and the isles

Bossy is definitely underappreciated, Paul. I contend that if I had to have one player with the puck in the slot with five seconds left in game 7, it's Mike Bossy. The problem is just that he's getting compared to Gretzky, which is not a realistic option. The Islanders were awesome; I hated their guts but they were one Hell of a team.
