locking up a 6th/7th dman for little money who provides something no other D man does....what the hell is management doing
locking up a 6th/7th dman for little money who provides something no other D man does
no, it just shows how little Sens fans know about the sport....and people wonder why so many Sens fans are pessimistic.
It probably is "fair" but don't we have upper echelon depth in defence? We don't need to sign 7-8 d men to multi year 1mil+ contracts.Fair contract. [QDP]
I said 6th as well, which is what he plays. The problem is he isn't played as a 7th. Unless he starts getting regular scratches in favour of better players, we are just throwing an anchor on the 3rd pair.

there is nobody on the roster right now who is as physical or plays with a hard edge like he does.No other D man can hit people?

He does, poorly. Everyone on these boards loses their minds at the Sens taking 'safe' players in the 1st round. This is the exact same thing. Playing a 'safe' plug because he tries hard instead of a good player who might make a mistake. That isn't even a good excuse either because Boro messes up too. I don't think hes the worst player in the world or anything, but if you want to be a good team - aim for higher standards. Boro was ranked last in the NHL in offensive contribution from the D. I know that isn't what he is here for, but come on, it wouldn't hurt to be able to play outside of our own zone once in a while when the 3rd pair is outI said 6th as well, which is what he plays.
