Sucks to hear. I thought he was having a really good year so far (relative to expectations, of course).

Will be interesting to see what happens now with both Boro and Wideman out. Harpur is already up, do we call up another Dman so that we have a spare (particularly while on a road trip)?

I'd like to see Chabot come up to replace what Wideman brought, and I really like Harpur in the lineup. Maybe run something like this?

Claesson-Karlsson
Oduya/Harpur-Phaneuf
Chabot-Ceci

Sad.
Concussions seem to be an accepted result of playing. Well you can't do anything about it?
Not sure.
Everything should be done to try and avoid them. Where is the list of implemented ideas?
5min penalty. So it's done and dealt with right?
I was concussed once in my life years ago. People wouldn't notice but there are things my brain cannot do as well since then.
Hockey is a just a game. Concussions are serious.

Rough go, Boro has been fantastic in his role this season.

Get Chabot up, get Oduya to the pressbox.

Unfortunately, we all know where this is headed. More 5 minute games for Nick Paul and more minutes for Oduya. Chabot is staying in Belleville. This roster currently consists of 12 forwards and 6 D, the lineup will reflect that. Maybe they will surprise me and call up Chabot, but, he would definitely be #7 in Boucher's mind.

Really wishing he heals up quickly. That was a terrible play by Smith. And Smith wasn't even man enough to take responsibility. Just a stupid play to make. Totally unecessaary.

I didn't think the play was that bad.

They punished the result accordingly, but I didn't think there was clear intent to injure or anything.

Really hope he's 100%, if that's possible, be fore he comes back.. He isnot going to be very good at avoiding contact. The team has missed him.

Hope he's truly symptom free. I'd rather have him playing than Oduya (I think). Rather Claesson than either but whatever.
