Wow...1st Boomer Berman & now we are losing the legendary Costas. Did not think it would happen this soon. He will pretty much be taking on the "Tom Brokaw role" in the sports area for NBC. He will sorely be missed by me, but at least Tirico will be a high quality successor.

(actually i've v. rarely caught NBC coverage. partially due to difficulty on my part but no Bob makes it less compelling to do so).
