Just a quick note to say if Byfuglien does officially retire in the next 10 days (before October 1st), the Blues will be on the look out for a top flight blue liner. The Blues have an abundance of forwards and other assets that would be considered in the deal, including futures.
So if you are considering moving a prime d-man, you might wait until October 1st to figure out whether the demand for said asset will go up in that time period, based on Bubba's decision.
Hopefully he is away fishing and puts off any rash decisions...
