It's going to be quite comical (well, and probably depressing) if Velluci is named GM and Brindy is named head coach.

EDIT: I'm not saying Velluci as GM would be a bad thing, just the whole nepotism thing would remain alive and well.

On top of having detailed knowledge of Charlotte's roster potential, Vellucci coached up Tyler Seguin in the OHL. Seguin is a UFA next year if he doesn't re-up in Dallas. Potential trade target in a massive deal.

I'm more then ok with the idea of HCMV here. Say what you want of Peters success in juniors, Vellucci was similarly successful with Plymouth and previous to that in NAHL.
